The Venue

Charleston Wedding | The Carriage House at Magnolia Plantation is located in Charleston, South Carolina. The beautiful grounds are covered with breathtaking blooms, hanging Spanish moss, and spectacular wildlife including peacocks! Carolina Occasions and Emma Allen outdid themselves styling this wedding. The antique mantelpiece covered in florals and candles used as the backdrop for the ceremony was my favorite detail of the day.

The Cake

The wedding cake created by Jessica Cline was one of the most beautiful cakes I have ever seen. The colors were amazing! It was almost too pretty to cut! I absolutely loved the succulent floral details she added to the design.

The Details

The dusty blue tones of this Charleston wedding were just captivating. I am so in love with this palette! The stationery by Rebecca Green Design and the florals by Creech’s Florist were just perfect.  To see another beautiful wedding featuring Creech’s Florist, click here.

The Girls

This bride tribe was full of fun and laughter all day long. Their joy was contagious and it made the day so enjoyable. I love working with such amazing, beautiful, happy bridal parties. Their sweet bridesmaids robes by Silk and More and especially Samantha’s blue and white Carolina Bride robe from Sixpense Press were just adorable. I think every Carolina Bride should have one of these!

The Couple

Oh my goodness! Samantha and Cody were just made for each other! Their happiness and joy were bubbling over. I could feel the happiness radiating from everyone celebrating their wedding day!

The Tradition

I am so in love with tradition, and Samantha and Cody decided to give this fun one a try! The southern tradition of burying a full bottle of bourbon at the site the bride and groom will be married is supposed to prevent rain on their wedding day. The bottle has to buried exactly one month before the day of the ceremony and must be buried upside down. Although it did get a little misty a few times on their day, who knows what kind of monsoon might have happened if they didn’t bury their bottle!?!?

The Getaway

This classic car was such a fun addition to Sam and Cody’s Charleston wedding! I loved getting these photos of their end-of-the-day getaway after all the festivities. I know that they have an amazing future together and I wish them all the best! So much love!!!
